

Ashley Hinds is a dedicated Clinical Research Associate II at Proxima Clinical Research, Inc., a contract research organization supporting the emerging drug and medical device industries. With over 6+ years of extensive monitoring experience working on clinical trials, she has built a solid foundation across various therapeutic areas and trial phases. Before joining Proxima, she held senior roles as a Clinical Research Associate at IQVIA, Premier Research, and ICON, gaining invaluable expertise in study start-up, site selection and activation, site management, and regulatory audits.
Ashley’s passion for clinical research is deeply personal. As a type 1 diabetic who actively uses a continuous glucose monitor, she understands firsthand the profound impact that successful clinical trials can have on patients’ lives. This perspective fuels her commitment to advancing medical innovations that improve patient outcomes.
Over the years, Ashley has worked across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, immunology, nephrology, and infectious diseases. Her experience spans from early-phase studies Phase 1a/1b to Phase IV and observational trials, with successful management of global studies in areas like Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, HER2-negative breast cancer, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, major depressive disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar I, multiple sclerosis, and COVID-19. Her expertise in managing complex protocols, navigating evolving therapies, and contributing to collaboration across functional teams has contributed to the success of many clinical trials.
