Jacob King is an industry expert with over 14 years’ experience and currently serves as the Associate Director and Department lead for Proxima’s Data Management team. Although his 12+ years of CRO experience has been focused primarily on Rare Disease indications supporting all phases of global research programs (including observational and real-world data), he specializes in operational strategy, data integrity, study data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. Jacob is known for a variety of DM accomplishments, including recent experience with MHRA Inspections, but is best known for his ability to forge lasting relationships with his clients. During his EDC tenure, Jacob taught product and data management best practices to a wide array of customers spanning Pharma, CRO, Academic, and Physician practices.

Jacob has also contributed to the development and implementation of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, helping to optimize clinical data workflows and improve study efficiency. Known for his collaborative leadership style and strategic mindset, Jacob focuses on building hire performing teams and delivering high quality clinical trial outcomes.
