Diane Chase currently serves as a Safety Associate at Proxima Clinical Research, a contract research organization that serves the emerging drug and medical device industries.
Prior to joining the Proxima team, Diane served as the Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist for a large clinical research organization where she was charged with leading a large, global COVID-19 treatment trial. As the Safety Lead on the project, she ensured that individual case safety reports were submitted to the sponsor according to timelines with the assistance of her five-member safety team. Diane was responsible for all aspects of drug safety in the trial including triage, data entry, narrative writing, query generation and quality control. Diane led weekly Safety team meetings with the sponsor for study updates/metrics/issues and interfaced closely with the sponsor for successful data collection.
Diane has also served as a Clinical Research Coordinator in addition to Pharmacovigilance Specialist since 1993 and has worked on multiple trials with different indications. Based on clinical and clinical research organization experience, Diane has mainly focused attention in Oncology, Gastroenterology and Infectious Disease.
