Department: Sales, Marketing, & Business Development

We are expanding our sales team with an Inside Sales Manager position to be based in the Houston, Texas office.  This position presents an opportunity for progression to a field Business Development position or other internal clinical related positions.

Under limited supervision, this role will plan, implement, and manage client and/or partner relationships, marketing and sales programs or initiatives, events and conferences, and other initiatives of the company.

The position is at our office at 240 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX.

A Day In the life
  • Drive a plan to initiate and maintain contact through multiple touch points, including telephone activity, with prospective accounts to identify, qualify and manage new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborates with Sales Leadership to assess the timing of transferring new opportunities to Field Sales, Executives, or Operations team members.
  • Proactively engage prospective accounts leveraging timely and relevant content to develop meaningful relationships which results in the identification of new sales opportunities.
  • Proficiently leverage online resources and available information conducting account research to engage and build relationships with accounts.
  • Maintain up to date information on sales activities, sales pipeline, customers and contacts within CRM systems for individual and team reporting.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned such as conference planning and coordination of sales with marketing efforts.
Must Have Knowledge and Skills
  • BS/BA degree in life sciences, business, related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a Sales, Lead Generation or Account Management position; predominantly via phone and email communication.
  • Experience working in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or similar systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Preference of having a working knowledge of clinical development.
  • Possessing a sales disposition to achieve sales goals along with an ability to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Effective written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
